As the Warehouse Manager at our coffee company, you will oversee all aspects of warehouse operations including inventory management, order fulfillment, and the preparation and distribution of coffee, machines, and parts. You will also be responsible for coordinating and occasionally performing deliveries to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction.
This hands-on role combines warehouse management with light logistics and equipment handling, requiring both strong organizational skills and a willingness to step in to ensure operational continuity.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations: - Manage receiving, warehousing, distribution, and order fulfillment for coffee products and equipment - Oversee the preparation, packaging, and delivery of coffee machines and parts to clients or field techs - Implement efficient warehouse layouts and workflows for both consumables and equipment
Inventory & Equipment Management: - Maintain accurate inventory of coffee, machines, and spare parts - Track equipment status, returns, and outgoing machines for service or installation - Ensure proper storage and handling of sensitive coffee machinery and components
Logistics & Coordination: - Coordinate delivery schedules and transportation logistics for coffee machines and service parts - Work with customer service and technical teams to fulfill machine installations and service requests - Prepare kits or shipments for field service technicians - Cover local deliveries as needed, especially during peak periods, staff absence, or urgent service needs - Cover loading and unloading delivery vehicles, and interact professionally with customers upon delivery
Team Leadership: - Lead, train, and manage warehouse and delivery staff - Assign daily tasks, track performance, and promote a positive, safety-conscious work environment
Reporting & Systems: - Use warehouse management software to track coffee, equipment, and parts - Generate reports on inventory, order accuracy, and machine distribution - Recommend process improvements to streamline fulfillment and reduce downtime
Required Qualifications - 3–5 years of warehouse/logistics experience with at least 1–2 years in a leadership role - Clean driving record and valid driver’s license (required for delivery responsibilities) - Experience handling and delivering light commercial equipment (coffee or food service preferred) - Strong organizational and communication skills - Proficiency in warehouse/inventory software and Microsoft Office - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs - Mechanical aptitude or experience in handling/assembling coffee machines is a plus
