The Beehive just turned 5 years old and we are on the hunt for a new Cafe Manager to lead our fun, supportive team based out of Bethnal Green Mission Church.
Working closely with the staff team & church leaders, our new cafe manager will bring their enthusiasm, imagination, initiative & energy to continue to fulfil our ambitious vision:
To offer excellent coffee & food at affordable prices for all sections of the local community, in a welcoming, vibrant & customer-centred environment
To create a community – making connections, developing relationships & offering friendship
To provide a ‘social good’ – building partnerships with local projects & providing accessible training opportunities designed to empower our volunteers
To be financially sustainable
This is a full-time, 14 month fixed-term contract. The Job Holder will be expected to work flexibly within the daytime opening hours of the café, including 2 Saturdays a month & bank holidays (cafe is closed on Sundays). A combination of flexibility, innovation, sound organisational skills & commitment to excellence is essential.
